  21. I'm trying to transfer files from one PC to another.  I set up PC A as a
  22. server as described in "Using MS-DOS Kermit."  When I dial in from PC B,
  23. as soon as the two modems connect, PC A drops out of server mode and
  24. goes back to command line mode.  This makes it impossible to transfer files.

  26. Perhaps there's a control character that PC B is sending to PC A that's
  27. causing the latter to drop out of server mode?  This doesn't happen when
  28. I use PC B as a server and dial in from PC A.

  30. PC A has a Best Data 14.4 Smart One modem and PC B has a US Robotics
  31. Sportster 14.4 modem and I'm using the appropriate .scr files for both.
  32. I guess I should check if ctl-C or alt-X are escaped?  Or could it be
  33. something else?
